February is a little slower finally and in between the various corporate events in Ireland, Alan has been using the free time to catch up on all the required safety training.
Alan has just completed a Safe Pass course and Manual handling course.
Both are very important for Health and Safety within the event industry. Safe Pass is required for some events generally with new building launches etc where you might be working on a building site before completion. Manual handling is a basic requirement for anyone who works with the setup and derigging of equipment. Proper lifting techniques are a must if you don’t want to get injured.
Alan also flew to London for a three day Smaart V8 training course hosted by Capitol Sound. Smaart is a great software tool for any audio analysis including tuning large and small Sound systems.
