Alan went to Amman Jordan in the middle east in October to oversee and mix the sound for a new musical called Petra Rocks. Petra is an amazing area of Jordan where the Nabateans lived. 35,000 dwellings were cut out of sheer volcanic rock over 3000 years ago. Petra was made one of the wonders of the world about 2 years ago and a musical was commissioned to celebrate this.
Alan will go back to Jordan early next year for another 2 week run of the show and it will then tour a lot of the middle east festivals in 2010. Alan will come back as both producton manager and sound engineer.
